12 to 18 Hour Adventure Race
This will be the 4th year for this exciting winter race. The race name has been changed to honor our friend and
adventure racing legend Dave Boyd. This years race will be tough a 12 hour race you should expect to finish in 18.
Racers will travel through several East Texas areas including Lake Livingston and The Sam Houston National Forest.
Expect about 20 miles of paddling, 25 to 30 miles of biking and 20 miles of trekking. Race headquaters will be at
Double Lake Recreation Area, near Coldspring, Texas. Camping at the park and lots of hotels near by.
Divisions: Male, Co–Ed Entry Fee: $360 per team
2 to 4 Hour Sprint Race
4th year for this fun race, great for beginners. Fast 2 to 4 hour course that will challenge the fast guys and a great way
for beginners to find out what adventure racing is supposed to be about. Run about 3 miles, bike about 10 miles on
sweet, smooth single track great for beginners and paddle about 1 mile. Race headquaters at Double Lake Recreation
Area, Coldspring, Texas.
Divisions: Male, Female, Co–Ed, Solo and Co-Ed Masters Entry fee: $100 per team. Solo $55.00
